With the WHOIS protection option, you will be able to mask your private information that can be viewed on the Internet upon a WHOIS lookup on your domain name. In this way, if somebody performs a WHOIS lookup on your domain name, they will see fictional details instead of your personal details. With this functionality turned on, you’ll never have to be worried that somebody may use your address or telephone number to bother you.

The WHOIS protection functionality is available with most of the Top–Level Domains offered on our website and you can find it in the Domain Manager integrated into your Control Panel.

When registering a domain name, you must supply correct WHOIS information as well as to keep it up to date all the time. If you need to update your email or home address, or if you need to transfer the domain to somebody else, you can accomplish that via the Domain Manager interface.

Just press the Edit WHOIS button next to the domain name in question and update the corresponding registrant, administrative and technical contact information. After you hit the Update button, the modifications will be instantaneously reflected online.

With the Registrar Lock feature turned on, you can be sure that your domain is safeguarded against online robbery. Anyone who initiates an unauthorized domain transfer will be momentarily stopped and the domain name transfer request – denied.

If, at some point, you choose to transfer your domain name to some other domain registrar, you’ll be able to unlock it with a mouse click. You’ll find the domain locking/unlocking feature in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.
